Quotes

Danny: Morning, hot stuff.
Sam: Morning to you. Late night last night?
Danny: A man’s gotta do.
Sam: Yeah? Who’s the lucky?
Danny: I don’t kiss and tell, you know that.

Danny: She was on her way to Kennedy? How’d she end up down here?
Samantha: Something happened on the way, and they dumped the car here.
Danny: Oh something definitely happened. If that’s her blood, there’s only one question: where’d they dump the body?
Samantha: You are such a pessimist. She could have been assaulted and kidnapped for all we know.
Danny: I bet that’s what you told the cops, right?
Samantha: Yep. Until a body is found, Linda Schmidt is ours.

Martin: Hey, Viv, check this out. It’s Linda Schmidt’s credit card charges. This just came in, the Eon Hotel bar. She closed her tab at 11:45pm the night she disappeared.
Vivian: 11:45pm? She wasn’t planning on catching that flight.
Martin: She’s having guy troubles, blows off her job, heads out for a night on the town. And that bar is a major pick up place.
Vivian: How would you know?
Martin: I hear things.

Martin Fitzgerald: Is there something going on between those two?
Danny Taylor: Used to be.
Martin Fitzgerald: Really? That’s her type, huh?
Danny Taylor: Hey, are you jealous?
Martin Fitzgerald: Jealous? What, are you crazy?
Danny Taylor: Okay. Guess I’m crazy.

Samantha: You think it’s easy being surrounded by guys with guns all day?
Martin: I thought you liked guys with guns.
Samantha: I like the guns.

Samantha: Martin? You okay?
Martin: It’s not very satisfying is it?
Samantha: What’s that?
Martin: Not finding them alive.
Samantha: Well, her mother will have some closure. The bad guy’s gonna go to jail. We did our job.
Martin: Yeah, I guess.
